Simo leads backend and systems engineering at Danubio. He owns the architectural calls that get expensive to undo: data model, service boundaries, system design, scaling assumptions. He helps turn product direction into sound implementation decisions early, before complexity gets expensive.

Outside work, he tends to play with tech for the fun of it. There's usually a home server, an audio rig, or some new piece of hardware on his desk that week.

Half of what keeps me here is the engineering. The other half is the people you get to solve it with.
